Overview
Access to clean water and proper sanitation is essential for health, dignity, and development. In many communities across South Sudan, people—especially women and children—walk long distances to fetch unsafe water. Our Water & Sanitation program aims to improve access to safe water, promote hygiene, and reduce waterborne diseases through sustainable and community-centered interventions.
Our Goals
Provide clean and safe water sources to underserved communities.
Promote proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
Reduce the incidence of waterborne illnesses.
Empower communities to manage and maintain water facilities.
Key Activities
Drilling and rehabilitation of boreholes and wells.
Installation of rainwater harvesting systems in schools and communities.
Construction of latrines and handwashing stations in public places.
Community sensitization campaigns on hygiene and sanitation.
Training of local water user committees for sustainability.
Impact
50+ boreholes drilled, serving thousands of families with clean water.
20 schools equipped with safe water and sanitation facilities.
